The independent accreditation agency "Bilim-Standard" holds recognition from the National Accreditation Council of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, as indicated by the official Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic (Order №793/2, dated 16 June 2018).

"Bilim-Standard" is dedicated to organizing and conducting both institutional and programmatic accreditations for educational institutions that offer programs ranging from secondary and initial professional to intermediate professional, higher vocational, and postgraduate education. The agency's overarching mission is to contribute to the enhancement of the Kyrgyz Republic's education system by fostering the competitiveness of graduates. This objective is achieved through the establishment and refinement of quality assurance systems.

The scope of "Bilim-Standard's" responsibilities encompasses a broad spectrum of functions related to external quality control across higher, professional, and general education within Kyrgyzstan. Moreover, the agency actively engages in international collaborations, participating in the activities of esteemed quality assurance networks such as the International Quality Assurance Network in Higher Education, Eurasian Education Quality Assurance Network, European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education, and others.

Through its multifaceted efforts, "Bilim-Standard" not only ensures adherence to rigorous accreditation standards but also actively contributes to the global discourse on educational quality and best practices through its involvement in international networks.
