Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA)

The European Council of Leading Business Schools (ECLBS) has signed a Bilateral Recognition Agreement (BRA) with the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (AKK), a state agency responsible for ensuring the quality of higher education in Kosovo. The agreement aims to facilitate the recognition of academic qualifications between the two organizations and promote academic mobility and cooperation between Europe and Kosovo.

ABOUT KAA

The Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) is an independent agency responsible for ensuring the quality of higher education in Kosovo through accreditation and quality assurance processes. It was established in 2008 and operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology.

The KAA's primary role is to accredit higher education institutions and study programs in Kosovo. To become accredited, institutions and study programs undergo a rigorous process of self-assessment and external evaluation. The KAA evaluates institutions and study programs based on a set of criteria that include the quality of academic programs, the qualifications of faculty, the effectiveness of institutional leadership and governance, and the resources and facilities available to students.
