Membership is open to all universities, organizations, and individuals who are concerned with quality assurance in education. Register here
ECLBS memberships provide a wide range of opportunities for higher education institutions to drive their entrepreneurial and engaged university development process.
Fees for this year
The board of directors has decided to apply the following fees for this year
For Private (for-profit) Organizations / Universities / Schools: 900€/year;
For Public (State or Public) Organizations / Universities / Schools: 600€/year;
For Affiliated Members: 300€/year;
For Associate Members: 250€/year;
For Individual Members: 100€/year;
For Honorary Members: free.
Discounts: if your university or organization is accredited by one of our partners (Malta Further and Higher Education Authority MFHEA. the Mauritanian Authority for Quality Assurance of Higher Education & Kosovo Accreditation Agency KAA) or any of our partners you can get up to 30% discount
Membership is limited to these institutions as we aim to build a unique community of change-makers and impact generators that is characterized by a commitment to and passion for the topic.
How to become a member
Register – first of all, you have to fill in and submit the registration form, which will be processed within 3 working days. The application contains only the basic contact information about the institution requiring the membership. The institution is then contacted and all the details are drawn.
Pay the registration fee of 49 euros.
Review of an application – each application must be reviewed by the Board of Directors, (they meet at least two times a year), thereafter all applicants receive a notification of acceptance or rejection of their membership after the voting.
If Approved: Pay membership fees – next step is the payment of membership fees. The price depends on the type of membership.
If Rejected: you can apply again after 6 months
All members must be

a bona fide organization

has an interest in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA)

for universities (only for full members):

the business school must provide evidence that it has a publicly-stated mission appropriate to a college or university

submit a copy of the most recent catalog, bulletin, prospectus, brochures, or other materials for the school's study programs

provide evidence that the school has nationally-recognized institutional accreditation (or its equivalent) and grants business degrees at the bachelor's, master's, or doctoral level.

Why ECLBS
ECLBS membership means getting involved in the network of schools delivering study business study education. Within this network, ECLBS Members exchange their know-how in the Higher Education System.

How long will my membership last after approval?
ECLBS offers a maximum 5 years membership certificate, so there is no need to renew, we will evaluate the school from time to time and if everything is ok, we will issue a new membership certificate.

For Private (for-profit) Universities / Schools
Private universities and private colleges are institutions of higher education, not operated, owned, or institutionally funded by governments. They may (and often do) receive from governments tax breaks, public student loans, and grants.
For Public (state) Universities / Schools
A public university or public college is a university or college that is owned by the state or receives significant public funds through a national or subnational government
For Affiliated Members
is open for organization worldwide that has an interest in quality assurance of higher education but that cannot, or do not want to be a full member of ECLBS.
For Associate membership
Associate membership is dedicated to organizations, which are newly formed, and are interested in our membership, but are not capable to fulfill all our membership conditions.
For Individual Members
Individual Member means a registered, financial member of a Club or a natural person who is otherwise recognized by the Association as an Individual Member.
We wish to have an e-Certificate
the annual membership certificate fee (49 Euro) is a necessary expense for members who wish to obtain an e-certificate confirming their status with our organization. While the fee may seem like an extra cost, the benefits of having an e-certificate can outweigh the expense, making it a worthwhile investment for many members.

The decision to accept transfer credits depends entirely on the individual university and varies by university.
